There are things that scare me, and I want to tell you about one of them (it’s the season for confronting our fears, after all). If you’ve been following Mother Jones for a little while, you may have seen our tagline “Smart, Fearless journalism.” I like that line, but when I’m being completely honest, the “fearless” part is kind of impossible, at least for me. This ending is sometimes called the “bad” ending or the “Just Monika” ending, as she is the only one left at the end of the game. If you have played through DDLC at least once, there’s a good chance you ended up with the Monika ending. So in reality, Monika was killing people who were just as capable of her, without her even realizing it. Does Monika kill everyone?īut then Sayori tells you that she knew everything now that she’s the club president and goes crazy? Well, this essentially means that this whole time, Monika wasn’t special at all. How can Monika know that we are recording? It has no way of telling what that executable is doing, or if it is even genuine, which means you can rename notepad into “obs.exe”, launch it before launching the game, and Monika will be tricked into thinking you‘ re recording. It reaches a point where, after she confesses her love to the protagonist, she stabs herself to death out of over-excitement or rejection (depending on the protagonist’s response to her confession, both lead to the same outcome, courtesy of Monika). She is ultimately unable to control her obsessive outbursts.

Sayori’s ending happens halfway through the game. This will cause the protagonist to panic and go to Sayori’s house, where she will be found dead, hanging from a noose with blood on her hands. You might be interested: Question: Meta analysis vs literature review? How did sayori die?
